If the web page contains an image that is larger than the width of the PPC screen, Pocket Internet Explorer will follow these rules:
If "Fit to screen" is ON, the Pocket Internet Explorer will shrink the image to fit to the screen size. This shrinking functionality is limited to one-half of the original image width.
If "Fit to screen" is OFF, the Pocket Internet Explorer displays the image as specified with the <IMG> tags, honouring the "height" and "width" attributes or the original image size, if the attributes are not specified.
If the web page contains an image that is smaller then the screen width and the "Fit to screen" is ON, the image will be displayed as specified in the <IMG> tag.
As scaling reduces the quality of many images, it should be avoided to use images wider than the smallest supported viewing area.
